db_power(x)
Input: x · Output: no output
What it is
Alias of pow2db(x) above (10*log10(x), power convention) — the bare SciPy/general-DSP-flavored spelling.

How it works
db_power(x) — the POWER-domain counterpart to db above, 10*log10(power_ratio): an alias for pow2db(x), for the same "SciPy/general habit reaches for this name" reason. Do NOT confuse with db/mag2db: swapping the factor of 10 vs. 20 here is the classic amplitude-vs-power dB mistake — db is for field quantities (V, A, Pa, ...), db_power is for quantities that are already a power/energy ratio (W, W/Hz, |X|^2, ...).
From the note above this builtin in the interpreter, where the reasoning was written down as it was built.
